I know there are no words right now that can help but I just wanted to tell you how much of an impact James had on so many lives. He was working on my brothers ship two years ago and my brother absolutely adored him. He rang me with the news yesterday and was so upset. I only met James for a week when I visited my brother on the ship but just in that small amount of time I got to spend some time socialising with James and he made my time on the ship that much more enjoyable. Each time I seen him around the ship or in the crew bar he always had all us laughing. He had such a great sense of humour and we spend several nights onboard in the crew bar laughing and having such a good time. My brother was reflecting on when they both went to the Liverpool match together and James thoroughly enjoyed it. He was a great, honest, intelligent and kind person and he will be deeply missed. He told me about you being a doctor and he was so proud of all of his family. I just wanted to send love on behalf of me and my brother and hope it provides some comfort for you and your family that he had so many ship friends and people that loved him all over the world.
